A high-ranking Massachusetts lawmaker has been arrested and charged in a 113-count indictment that accuses him of running his State Senator office as a "criminal enterprise" that netted him $1 million in kickbacks and bribes, federal prosecutors announced today. The 102-page indictment charges him with racketeering, extortion, honest services fraud, money laundering, conspiracy to defraud the IRS and other charges.

Police respond to report of Bigfoot on I-80

The Nebraska State Patrol says it investigated a report of a Bigfoot sighting Saturday night along I-80 near North Platte. "Somebody reported seeing BIGFOOT on the shoulder of I-80 near MM (mile marker) 197," the NSP posted on Facebook.

A team of astronomers believe they have spotted the first moon outside our solar system. Phys.org reports that the team lead by Dr. David Kipping, assistant professor of astronomy at Columbia University, has spotted what might be the first evidence of a moon orbiting an exoplanet.

Charge: Man hid girlfriend's body in freezer as new girlfriend assumed her ID

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - An Ohio prosecutor alleges a man stored his girlfriend's body in a freezer while another woman helped him and assumed the dead woman's life by moving into her home, using her credit cards and caring for her dog. The body was found last weekend at a Campbell home, near Youngstown.
